Thanks Christopher and team. Charlie HaaseTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I've used American Pacific Tax for my U.S. tax returns since I moved to Hong Kong three years ago. Regardless of the utterly indefensible American policy of taxing their expats, American Pacific Tax has handled complicated income tax returns for me with no problems or inconvenience to me, and I will continue to use them going forward. Their personnel are attentive, knowledgeable and responsive, and I've had no trouble at all. American Pacific Tax provides excellent service for American citizens who need to file U.S. tax returns from Hong Kong. Dude KwanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. For US citizens and green card holders living in Hong Kong, China, and Macau, here are the dates that matter most each year.
Any US tax you owe must be paid by April 15 to avoid interest, even if you file your return later. If the 15th lands on a weekend or holiday, the due date moves to the next business day.
Required if your foreign financial accounts total over US$10,000 at any point in the year. It's filed with the US Treasury, not the IRS, and carries an automatic extension to October 15 with no request needed.
Living outside the US earns you an automatic two-month extension to file, moving your return deadline to June 15. This extends your filing date, not your payment date.
If you've filed Form 4868 for an extension, October 15 is the absolute last date to file your return, useful when documents take time to gather from overseas.
