American Pacific Tax is a licensed CPA practice in Central, Hong Kong. Since 2012 we’ve handled US federal and state tax for people and businesses across Asia, and every file is run by the people on this page, not a back office.
American Pacific Tax was launched in 2012 by its founders in response to the growing community of Americans working and living across Asia. At the time, most US tax services were either based back in the States, operating in inconvenient time zones, or structured as large impersonal firms where clients rarely spoke to the person actually preparing their return. We realized there was a need for a dedicated, high-touch practice right here in the region.
Operating on Asia time, we ensure every return is prepared and reviewed by a licensed CPA. We explain the IRS in plain English, and we never hand a file to a junior we haven’t trained ourselves. For us, the relationship matters as much as the return. We believe trust is earned through competence and transparency, and we’ve modeled our firm to provide the clarity you deserve.
