Great job if you have already filed your 2020 U.S. Individual Tax Return! If you have not filed, the IRS announced in March 2021 that the 2020 federal individual income tax filing due date is automatically extended from April 15, 2021, to May 17, 2021.* If you are a U.S. citizen or resident alien residing overseas, you are allowed an automatic 2 month extension until June 15, 2021 to file.

2021 ESTIMATED TAX PAYMENTS

As of April 8, 2021, the IRS did not extend the 2021 1st quarter estimated tax payment deadline. If you need to pay 2021 US federal estimated taxes –

  • 2021 1st  quarter payment is due on or before April 15, 2021
  • 2021 2nd  quarter payment is due on or before June 15, 2021
